I enjoyed reading your site. It opened my eyes to a couple of things I need to do, such as asking my husband of any last wishes. He is confined to a hospital bed so he cannot leave the house. However, I can ask if he wants to have certain friends or relatives come see him...He is in his last weeks or moths.

I coordinate a team of careguivers at the end of life in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We offer spiritual (not religious)support for patients, family and professionals. Our goal is to bring into society more awareness about death issues as part of a search for life quality.

PS - How have others dealt with a sense of abandonment by friends? At a time when friendship would be so helpful, how does one cope with absent friends?
